Rosite Feteau Merentie
Born in Bonne Fin Haiti, at age 4 she moved to Port-au- Prince to live with her aunt. Rosite spent every summer between Bonne- Fin, Sud, Lege’ spending most of her time volunteering at Hospital Lumiere in Bonne- Fin. Her passion of helping others made her who she is today, a nurse. Rosite moved to the United Stated in 1984, obtained her Associate in Nursing at Oakton College and went to graduate at Lewis University with BSN. After the 2010 earthquake, Rosite helped organizing a group of volunteers to Haiti. She facilitated transportation and care for many earthquake victims coming to Chicago for care. Rosite has been collaborating with many organizations to support the development of Haiti in the healthcare and education area. Rosite currently resides in Illinois with her 3 children.
